Hi,
I need to configure file server, for share path named "share". For that share folder, one of the user have the full control and other user don't for read and write. I have created new share by the following steps.
- File Services - Shares - New Share on Popup menu - Selected the path of the folder name and the share path is displayed like \\server\share - On the other settings, disabled Allow caching of share & Enabled Enable access-based enumeration - On the customize permissions, Given share access for two users named "Access" and "Deny", and NTFS permissions, Full control for user named "Access" and read permissions for the user named "Deny". Whereas only Read access given to Users on Share and NTFS permissions.
When user "access" logged on the client PC he doesn't have the access to create any object even though he is having full control. I can't identify where i did the mistake.
Can you please help me to resolve the issue ASAP. These testing has been carried out on Windows Server 2012.
