Hi All,
We were looking at storage spaces direct as alternative to our current Nexenta system and re-purpose the hardware. However I was very surprised at the limits.
Maximum capacity
- Recommended: Maximum 100 terabytes (TB) raw storage capacity per server
- Maximum 1 petabyte (1,000 TB) raw capacity in the storage pool
To re-purpose our jbods which each is 54*8TB into a 5 node cluster. Which breaks all the capacity limits of SSD. Is this going to change in with Server 2019 or do I need look at Ceph as an alterntive?
Thanks
Steve
