Dear All,
I have windows 2008 standard single server were I Installed DC and File Server Roll, we shared few folders for department users accessing there data, and its working fine from long time.
But a week before all users complaint us they unable to access their folders, so we checked from server and found there on folders sharing & security properties no any users permission entry’s,
So we made again all users entry’s for folders. Then all shared folders are working fine. After few days because of some maintenance we had took down time and shutdown the server. After server starting, we faced same issues all the shared folder entries are vanished. Then we same do two three times we faced same problem, after restarting all folders entries are vanished, but if we shared this folder everyone, then its working but we not are not getting security of the data.
So kindly help in this.
