Strange error when scanning a drive via file server manager. server 2003 R2

Hi there.

I use File Server Management to keep tabs on all files etc on a shared drive.

but last couple of months I have got the below message when the scan runs.

The volume f:\ (\\?\Volume{b28bc375-c4ab-4029-a39d-51b75038dfed}\) for report namespace root F:\Docshare is not formatted with NTFS. Make sure that you include only NTFS volumes in the report. This path will be ignored for now. Please reconfigure the report appropriately.

Now the Drive is NTFS and fully working however there is also an error showing in Disk management.

The drive is showing as healthy and active but even though there is 300gb+ of data the drive it is showing as being empty ie 100% free space.

very odd.  I have removed drive etc and reinstalled drivers etc but the problem persists.

Any ideas??
